Industry: Uniform Code Council is an international standards body managing UPC technology.

Duration: September 2000 – December 2000.

Primary Objectives/Tasks Performed:

1. Created an Intranet infrastructure using Microsoft IIS and Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
2. Deployed Exchange 2000 and created a method for transferring mail data from existing Lotus Domino servers to Exchange/Outlook (SMTP and database linkages).
3. Deployed an enterprise-wide FAX server solution (Rightfax) and created a database for managing users and queues.
4. Managed the deployment of Outlook 2000 and created a customized installation package (a ‘wrapper’) to simplify installation for the client’s IT department.
5. Published comprehensive documentation covering all project aspects on the client’s Intranet, for knowledge transfer and post-project support.
6. Created/managed an SQL Server database for project control.
